Habert is interested in contributing to crop improvement to improve food security in Uganda and beyond. Habert has research experience through which he has attained skills such as digital data collection, data management, and experimental design. He has previously worked with Arua District Farmers Association (ARUDIF) as an agricultural extension officer before joining Makerere University Regional Centre for Crop Improvement (MaRCCI). He has over 4 years of experience in research and enjoys traveling.
