Dr. Madakadze Rufaro is an Agriculture development specialist with a focus on capacity building, seed systems and horticultural crops research with over 25 years experience and a demonstrated history of working with both public and private sectors in the non-profit organization management industry. Experienced in matters regarding Nonprofit Organizations, Food Security and Sustainable Development with a PhD focused in Horticulture Seed Science from University of Guelph. She has served on advisory/ management boards of the African Centre for Crop Improvement and West African Centre for Crop Improvement.
She Identified, developed and supervised the implementation of grants to institutions engaged in agricultural developmentĀ and Managed research and capacity building programs in plant breeding and seed systems in 15 countries including South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria and Burkina Faso.
