In a momentous step towards fostering collaboration and innovation in the field of agricultural research and development, Dr. Richard Edema, the Executive Director of the Makerere University Regional Centre for Crop Improvement (MARCCI), embarked on a visit to the International Centre for Agriculture in Dry Areas (ICARDA) headquarters in Rabat, Morocco.
During his visit, Dr. Edema was warmly welcomed by Dr. Tadesse Wuletaw, the Principal Scientist and Lead Wheat Breeder at ICARDA, and Dr. Charles Kleinermann, Research Team Leader for Capacity Development at ICARDA. This meeting of esteemed minds marked the beginning of an important dialogue between these key figures in agricultural research.
